Nothing
So here's what I've done...nothing, nothing at all. None of my "home" friends are home which makes them completely useless. Let's do a chat room power hour tonight. (I'm sort of joking, but bored enough to be serious)

Ireland
hi friends...
i just got home from Ireland. i went there straight after graduation (well on Monday at like 2pm) for a family vacay. we went mostly to western and southwestern Ireland and it was amazing. i definitely connected with my Irish roots! they are just as superstitious as i am and love their pint at each meal just as much as i do. or i guess vice versa. i like those things just as much as they do.
anywho, we spent about a week traveling around and i'll post pictures soon. the weather was perfect, and i even came back with a sunburn (i took an 8 mile hike one afternoon and since we didn't expect warm sunny weather we didn't pack sunscreen so i scorched myself on the hike). it was a pretty fantastic trip, although i would've liked to have some non-family members with me so i could've done some good ol' Irish partying (Ivan wasn't with us on the trip so i didn't have him as a drinking companion). i have already decided that i have to go back there soon.
now i'm in NYC for the next week until i go back to KY to work for a summer program and continue to improve my tan through July. not sure what i'll be doing for august, but at some point i've got to move myself to NYC...
well there's a little update for now. i'll tell of more when more happens.

Buon Giorno! Me chiamo JP. Piachere. Come si chiama?
I'm going to learn Italian in three weeks before I go to Italy. Wish me luck!

No friend mars bars yet but...
Hello! I just arrived in GLAS-GEE (aka Glasgow to you Americans!) and it is super hot, which I would never expect from Scotland, but am pleasantly surprised. For the next two nights I am in a teeny weeny little hotel with a view of the street on a hill and it is quite nice but I wish you all were here to spice it up a bit...
So far, as I am living on bottom dollar/pound, I managed to scrounge a dinner of "cheese toastie" for 3 pounds (!!) and for the rest of the week plan to live off digestive biscuits (which are kind of like graham crackers...)
What you all will probably will excited about is that I found this awesome theatre where there special deal is "A Play A Pie and A Pint!" Amazing, correct?
Other exciting news is that they sell Gin and tonics in Marks and Spencer (a supermarket) as well as whiskey tonics!?!?? And CIDER?!?!
Yes, now I sound like an alcoholic. It's ok....righhhtttt?
I think I also will start a Glaswegian dictionary to amuse you and so I don't get lost. So far I have:
-Buckie: a very cheap alcoholic beverage. Quote: " Buckfast is alleged to be the drink of choice for drinkers who are prone to committing anti-social behaviour when drunk, especially drinkers under 18 years" (Who's up for a tipple? :) It sounds like the Four Loco of the UK! AHHH! What also makes sense is its other code name: "Electric Soup." Haha!
evidence: http://blog.beliefnet.com/idolchatter/buckfast-wine.jpg
-Bawbag: "ball bag" (scrotum) or a fool. I guess that makes sense...?
Enough for now. Time for a digestive biscuit and some Buckfast baby. x

Are we really doing this?
Cool stuff. I'm still at Duke for the summer living on Little Nagi's floor for a bit until I can move into the Mirehouse.
